Request for Statement of Qualifications for Professional Services

Alderwood Water and Wastewater District is seeking statements of qualifications (SOQ) from consultants for its consultant roster. The District may select qualified consultants for professional services directly from the roster or short list for interviews for projects estimated not to exceed $150,000. Examples of some Engineering Projects and Non-Engineering Projects that could apply are available from our website. Projects requiring professional services in excess of $150,000 will be advertised separately.

Professional services may include evaluations, studies, design, and construction related services for water and wastewater facilities such as pipelines, pump stations, lift stations, water reservoirs and wastewater treatment. Additional services related to water and wastewater facilities may include odor control, corrosion control, electrical engineering, and environmental and permitting, flow monitoring, Geospatial Information Systems (GIS), Utility Locate services and Surveying services.  A full listing of areas of requested expertise are available from our website.

The District also anticipates a need for Information Technology (IT) services, which may include hardware and software assessment, installation, maintenance and upgrades for the wide area network (WAN), local area network (LAN), servers and client workstations. Services may also include computer and network security, Internet and web site development, telecommunications, and programming services.

The SOQ shall specifically identify the areas of expertise the firm wishes to be considered for and shall include relevant experience for these services. A completed Consultant Roster Information Form must accompany the SOQ. Previous SOQs submitted prior to January of 2010 will no longer be considered unless a letter requesting renewal of the previously submitted SOQ is received by March 19, 2010. Consultants may verify their status by reviewing a current Professional Services Roster. It is the Consultants responsibility to notify the District regarding any changes. SOQs may be submitted at anytime throughout the year. A current Professional Services Roster and Consultant Roster Information Form are available from our website.

Please submit two copies of the SOQ with the Consultant Roster Information Form. SOQ Submittal, renewal letter, or updated changes to the Roster shall be directed to:
