On September 17, 2007, the Board of Commissioners of the Alderwood Water & Wastewater District (District) adopted Proposed Resolution No. SR 954-2007 that establishes the policies and procedures for the allocation process for sewer certificates of availability for the Picnic Point Sewer Basin. This action rescinds the temporary moratorium on the issuance of certificates of sewer availability in the Picnic Point area. The allocation plan affects potential new sewer customers residing generally west of SR 99, north of Lynnwood, and south of Everett.
The allocation plan affects only new connections to the sewer system; existing customers that are not seeking additional connections to the sewer system will not be impacted by this moratorium.
