The Alderwood Water and Wastewater District (AWWD) is offering free indoor and outdoor water conservation items to our customers in Southwest Snohomish County. If you are in Snohomish County, but are not an AWWD customer, please check with your local water provider, they may have similar kits available.
Indoor Water Conservation Kits
AWWD's Indoor Water Conservation Kits contain a water efficient showerhead, and bathroom faucet aerators. This year we are pleased to announce that we also have kitchen faucet aerators. The District does have a limited amount of the new kitchen faucet aerators, supplies are limited to one per customer.
Outdoor Water Conservation Kits
AWWD's Outdoor Water Conservation Items available include rain gauges, moisture meters and watering timers. Please note: The District has a limited number of timers. There will be a limit of one per household.
Why use a Water Conservation Kit?
Leaks cost money. Using a conservation kit is one small way you can reduce your water usage - just install the conservation tools and it does the work for you. During the summer watering season, household water use can increase dramatically. Watering lawns, tending to gardens and forgotten hoses can mean big bills. Conservation kits are just one way we can all work together to save water, and money.
Where can I get a Water Conservation Kit?
Kits are available at Alderwood Water & Wastewater District's Main office, 3626 156th St. SW, Lynnwood WA 98087. Monday thru Friday 8-5pm. While Supplies Last!
